MY SIWES JOURNEY

#week1

The first week of my SIWES program at Listacc academy started on a good note with the staffs welcoming us (I and my friend ) with smiling faces.

Work activities starts by 9:00 Am with morning devotion. There, we got to introduce ourselves to the staff ,also got to know their names and few things about the hub. Then came the what did you do yesterday and what are you doing today section. This section takes place right there at the devotion ground. It involves each members of the hub (staffs/interns) telling the full house what they were able to achieve the previous day and what they planned doing the new day. I love this very culture because it helps one to be serious and accountable with what he/she is doing.

My classes kicked off with CSS owning to the fact that I already have a knowledge of html . My class is made up of 4 interns with I being the only girl in the class.

Mr Vincent was our instructor for the week and he did use the entire week putting us through on what CSS is and how to use it. He did also bring it to our knowledge that there is more we will come across in the course of building projects as he can’t teach us all.

Did the meet my expectations? Follow my post you will get to know if they did. Did I learnt something? Not really because most of the things he taught was what I knew already. It was more of a revision to me and somehow I liked that.
